Loin Pork Chops

€7.29 per kg
Pork chops are cut from the long back of the pig, the loin, which provides the leanest and the most popular meat. The bone is left in for more flavour. Our Irish Pork is from our own model factory, delivered fresh to the shops and cut to size by our master butchers.

Pork chops are best served pan fried or grilled, or try our Pork Chop Charcutiere recipe.

Cooking tip:
• Season the pork chop with salt & pepper and olive oil, brown on both sides and finish off in the oven depending on the side for 15/20 minutes.
• Take meat and cover it with tin foil, allowing it to rest. Then crush a whole apple and put it into the pan, spread all over catching all those lovely juices.
• Return to the oven for 5 minutes. Any juices from the pork meat throw into the pan and pass everything through a sieve. Return to pan , heat sauce enough to melt a nob of butter. Absolutely delicious jus for the pork chop
A lovely accompaniment to any pork dish is, of course, apple sauces.
